Surrey: On January 25th at approximately 10:15pm, Surrey RCMP received reports of shots being fired in the 13000 block of 73rd Avenue. Upon attendance officers located evidence of a shooting on the roadway, but were unable to locate a victim. Officers conducted neighbourhood canvassing and spoke with several witnesses to obtain further information. At approximately 10:30pm, Surrey RCMP was advised by local area hospital that a 17 year old victim had driven himself to hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim is currently in serious, but stable condition and is expected to survive.

Officers are still in the early stages of their investigation, but believe the two incidents are related. Initial indications are that the shooting is targeted.
