Delta: On Wednesday April 19, at approximately 3:35 p.m. a Delta Police officer was on patrol in the 8000 blk of 120th Street when he recognized a black Nissan pickup truck with three occupants (two males and a female) in it. The vehicle was stationary in the shopping plaza parking lot.

The officer recognized the vehicle because he was the same officer that had taken the initial stolen auto report from a North Delta resident the day previous.

The three suspects didn’t see the officer but he kept an eye on them as they exited the vehicle and went into a local eatery. When they came out of the eatery police moved in and took all three into custody without incident.

The two males (37 and 20 yrs. old), of no fixed address, face multiple charges including; Possession of stolen property and breach probation.

The female youth had been reported missing and was returned to her guardian without charge.

Actively patrolling the streets of Delta continues to yield positive results. Delta Police working to maintain a safe community.
