cancer walkVancouver: BC Children’s Hospital Foundation hosted the launch of the 2014 Sears National Kids Cancer Ride on September 3. Eighteen riders with the Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation will cycle 7,000 kilometres across Canada to raise funds for pediatric oncology programs across the country. It is a 17-day journey.

The Sears National Kids Cancer Ride will fund programs that improve the lives of children living with cancer as well as those recovering from the physical and emotional scars that can be part of survivorship. Beyond the children themselves, their families and friends benefit from on-going support programs provided for by the National Kids Cancer Ride.
