Vancouver: It’s looking like a cloudy, wet Thanksgiving long weekend in the southern Interior thanks to an unusual event.

Environment Canada’s Lisa Coldwells says the remnants of hurricane Oho have been sucked into the jet stream and could bring lots of moisture to B-C, mostly to the central and north coasts.

She says Saturday will be the soggiest day in the Interior with the system moving off on Sunday.

Coldwells says the Interior will only see about two to three millimetres of rain while the Squamish area could get between 50 and 80 millimetres. (CKFR)
