Surrey: On June 13, Surrey RCMP was called to assist Emergency Health Services at a residence in the 14900 block of 58 A Avenue for a report of a three year old boy who fell from an upper floor bedroom window. The boy has since been transported to local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. This incident appears to be an unfortunate accident and is not considered suspicious at this time.

During the warmer summer months the Surrey RCMP usually sees an increase in these types of calls. As a result they are reminding parents to keep an eye on their children and keep windows secured in a safe manner at all times. If possible, have your child play in an area that is not elevated and near windows to minimize any potential risks.
