Surrey: Surrey RCMP is currently investigating a shots fired call into a residence in the 14200 block of 62A Avenue that occurred last night. The home was occupied but no one was injured in the home.
On November 23rd at 11:00pm, Surrey RCMP received several calls from witnesses who heard gun shots in the area of 142nd Street and 62 Avenue. Witnesses then saw a suspect running from the area described as a South Asian male wearing a mask.
Police also received calls from within the residence reporting that shots were fired towards two people who were in the garage. The two intended victims are known to police and it is believed that this was a targeted attack. At this point, the victims are not being cooperative with police.
The Surrey RCMP Serious Crime Unit has taken conduct of the investigation and is continuing to collect evidence and speak to anyone in the area that may have witnessed what had occurred.
