Coquitlam: Coquitlam RCMP are looking for a potentially important witness to a fatal crash on Mariner Way that occurred on March 25, just before 3:00 p.m.
The witness was driving a white SUV westbound on Riverview Crescent and was stopping at the intersection with Mariner Way at the time of the crash.
It’s important that we speak to absolutely everyone who was at the scene, says Corporal Michael McLaughlin with Coquitlam RCMP. This witness may not think he saw anything important, but we will leave no stone unturned to determine what caused the collision that took the life of a young girl.
The witness is described as:
- An Asian man
- Slim build and wearing glasses
- Clean-shaven with black, short hair
- Wearing a dark top, blue jeans and white socks with dark shoes.
The vehicle that the witness was driving is described as: A white Toyota RAV 4 SUV with a model year from 2016 to 2018.
