ON October 31, at 7 a.m., the Delta Police responded to 120th Street and 72nd Avenue for a report of a hit-and-run collision involving a South Asian pedestrian.
 
An elderly male was walking northbound on 120th Street, crossing 72nd Avenue in a marked crosswalk, when he was struck by a westbound pickup truck.  The driver of the pickup truck did not remain at the scene.   The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
 
On Thursday, the Delta Police relased the intersection camera video to the public for viewing. They are appealing to the public to watch the video and to contact them if they have any information about this incident or if they have seen or know the whereabouts of this vehicle.

The vehicle is believed to be a white 1982 to 1992 Chevrolet S10 Pick up truck, with after-market rims.
The pickup truck was making a left turn to go westbound on 72nd Avenue from northbound Scott Road.  The intersection camera shows the time to be about 6:57 a.m.
 
Any witnesses to the collision, or anyone with any information about this incident, is asked to contact the Delta Police at 604.946.4411.
 
Police are appealing to the driver of the vehicle to come forward and contact them immediately.
