Agra Tandoori Restaurant on Canada Way and Boundary Road is fine example of cuisine Agra.The restaurant gave a fresh beginning to the finest Indian cuisine in the region and it is one of the most pleasant places to have a mouth watering northern Indian cuisine in Metro Vancouver. Beautiful décor from window coverings to tastefully decorated inside of the restaurant. Agra Tandoori restaurant is recognized as both stylish and contemporary and brings a sense of elegance and sophistication to the Indian restaurant scene here in Metro Vancouver; it is an inviting warm and comfortable atmosphere.
Customers would rather stay in and spend a quite evening at home and either have the food picked up on their way from work, and if you do that you will receive 10 percent discount if you pay cash for pick up orders, and if you like to have it delivered, that is another option for you to call and have it piping hot delivered at your door. The people behind the counter are very professional and friendly and they will treat you as if you are a guest in their home. The restaurant has maintained their reputation through their service and quality of the food, plus freshness, you can taste the freshness in each dish. Upon my visit I ordered Aloo Gobhi and chilly chicken with naan, the service was fast and friendly, I have eaten in many Indian restaurants but the authenticity of the spices and freshness is what this restaurant standout for.
“We have lunch buffet from Monday to Friday from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm with 11 items for only $9:99 per person, we are very busy during lunch time, because our price is very reasonable and people don’t have too much time to come and order, so when they come food is all ready, customers like that” says Bob Sandhu, the owner of Agra Tandoori Restaurant. “Our specialty dishes are will remind you of taste of Agra’s cuisine. Our Butter Chicken Tandoori is the most loved delicacies by Vancouverites. We have an elaborate menu for both vegetarians and
non-vegetarians. But the icing on the cake is our Pista Kulfi. We are the only restaurant that serves Pista Kulfi,” he added. “Every month we have special of the month dinner which includes special wine, appetizers, main course including non vegetable and vegetable dishes and desserts for only $35:00 for two people, this is a very popular item every day of the week, dinner only, on November 9, Sunday we will have BBQ’s, cooked in our tandoori oven Brunch special from 12 to 9 pm, all you can eat for only $16:95 per person, its one day only” he added.
Seating for up to 65 people, can be booked for special events, birthday parties or anniversaries, fully licensed, free parking, open from 11:30am to 10 pm from Monday to Friday and Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 12 to 10pm.
