In the interview, she asked questions on various issues related to Fijian living in Canada and North America. Aiyaz in reply of a question told that Fijians living abroad can register their vote for upcoming elections and anyone who has Fijian passport is eligible to be registered as a voter.
AG said that the country has taken major steps towards the general elections. Fiji official will approach Fijians living in Canada for registration as voters. He said age for voting is now 18 years. Every Fijian over the age of 18 is being encouraged to come forward and is required to produce a valid Fijian passport. In announcing the details, the Attorney General and Minister Responsible for Elections, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, urged Fijians to take advantage of the opportunity.
