nareshEdmonton: Associate Minister of Services for Persons with Disabilities, Naresh Bhardwaj will join international partners in Tokyo, Japan, to discuss policies that make a positive impact on the quality of education for students.

As a former teacher and member of the Task Force for Teaching Excellence, Associate Minister Bhardwaj will spend June 25 and 26 exploring how countries around the world are fostering more effective teaching and learning practices through teacher preparation, support, evaluation and feedback.

“These discussions come at an important time for Alberta as we examine ways to better support teachers, ensure excellence in every classroom, and bring the vision of Inspiring Education to life.  One way to achieve these goals is to learn how other jurisdictions are putting the best interests of students first.”
