Langley: In a bizarre accident a car rear ended a school bus and was wedged under the school bus when Langley RCMP arrived. There were no children on board when the collision occurred around noon at a red light at 200th Street and 32nd Avenue.Police believe the passenger car, a Toyota, rear-ended the southbound school bus as it slowed for the red light. The car went under the back of the bus and became pinned. Of the three occupants in the vehicle, two were able to exit uninjured, however the driver remained trapped for a short time. She has since been freed from the vehicle and transported to hospital for treatment of what are believed to be minor injuries.
The male driver of the school bus was uninjured but obviously shaken up. Langley RCMP Client Support and Victim Services are providing their assistance.
