Kelowna: Save-On-Foods is expanding its online shopping service to cities in B.C.’s Interior and Okanagan, giving customers their choice of the increasingly popular, convenience-based store pickup (November 17) and home delivery (December 1) options.
Starting November 17, the stores in Kelowna and Vernon will offer the pickup service, where customers can order groceries online at saveonfoods.com or through the Save-On-Foods app, and choose a time slot and location to pick them up at. Personal shoppers pick the order and even load the groceries into the customer’s car at designated online shopping pickup parking stalls.
In Kamloops, four more Save-On-Foods stores will join the Brocklehurst location in offering online shopping pickup on November 17. Save-On-Foods Brocklehurst started offering the service on June 2, and now the city’s other locations in Valleyview, Sahali, Westsyde and Lansdowne will make it easier than ever for customers to pick up their pre-picked grocery orders at a store that’s convenient for them.
Starting December 1, the home delivery option will also be available to customers in Kelowna, Kamloops and Vernon. On December 1, customers in Prince George will have the option of the in-store pickup service.
Pickup is free, and the first home delivery is free as well. Delivery charges start at just $7.95.
