Langley: Save-On-Foods, together with its supplier and business partners, raised a record $613,831 for children’s hospitals across Western Canada at the 24th annual Save-On-Foods Charity Golf Tournament on Wednesday, May 29.

“We are absolutely thrilled with the results of this year’s tournament,” said Save-On-Foods president Darrell Jones. “Every year, our supplier community absolutely wows us with their generosity and enthusiasm and this year they surpassed all expectations. We are so proud of our Save-On-Foods family for coming together to support the most precious members of our community: our kids.”

The sold-out tournament brought 360 golfers to the Northview Golf and Country Club in Surrey, B.C. in support of BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation in Saskatoon, Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation in Edmonton, and Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation in Calgary.
