Surrey: Police say they’ve made an arrest in an attack three months ago on a taxi driver in Surrey. It’s alleged a passenger stabbed the driver with a knife, took his wallet, cash and cellphone, and ran off.

Police now say 22 year old Jessie Farrar has been charged with robbery, assault, and assault causing bodily harm.

He was arrested outside of BC.

“Our Robbery investigators received a number of tips from the public which aided them in corroborating the identity of the accused in this investigation,” says Cpl. Scotty Schumann. “Thanks to the help from the public, further evidence was secured and charges approved by Crown Counsel, which will help ease the concern of other local cab companies.”
