New Delhi: Top bureaucrats heading ministries in Delhi will make presentations directly to Narendra Modi about their past record and an action plan for the future, after the prime minister designate officially takes charge next week.

The PM will spend close to half-an hour with each secretary and wants to know, among others, their goals and achievements of the last five years, shortfalls and any problem they faced, and the action plan for the next five years.

The presentation next week by respective secretaries will include things like five important achievements, failures and steps the department would like to take in order to boost the country’s economic growth,” an official source told a news agency.
