Union and Non-Union Truckers’ will hold a rally at Canada Place tomorrow around noon to bring to notice of everyone the problems faced by Truckers and expose the strong arm tactics of the Port. UTA’s Harmen Shergill says they expect anywhere between 800 to 1000 people at the rallytomorrow.

Harmen further added that, “We have sympathy for all the exporters and importers, but we request everyone to understand our pain as well. If few of our basic demands like reduction in waiting times or compensation for waiting times; fuel surcharge are met we are ready to come back to work. But the Port is trying to bully us to come back to work, which is not right.”
