Maple Ridge– Ridge Meadows RCMP’s Serious Crimes Unit have sworn charges against 22 year old David Kevin May and Nicholas Boscoe, who is also known as Nicholas Van Diest, age 18, for luring persons into becoming prostitutes.
Corporal Alanna Dunlop said, The police investigation alleges the two accused lured two teenaged girls into prostitution. One of the victims was promised money and other incentives in order to cooperate with the suspects.
The ordeal ended when the group were involved in a car crash in Surrey, B.C. Some great police work by an alert Surrey RCMP police officer located our victim, and the two accused, and the details were disclosed. This was followed by a search of a residence on 123 Avenue in Maple Ridge on January 29, 2014. Ridge Meadows RCMP were assisted in this search by members of the RCMP Lower Mainland District Emergency Response Team, which resulted in key evidence being located.
May was arrested and appeared in court on Thursday March 6th, 2014. He has been remanded in custody until his next appearance. The courts have issued a warrant for Boscoe’s arrest, and police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating him.

Both men have been charged with Procurement, and the matter is now before the courts.
