Islamabad: Pakistan military said it will “completely eliminate” terrorist sanctuaries and hideouts from North Waziristan.

During a media briefing, Maj. Gen. Asim Saleem Bajwa, spokesman of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said the region had become a hub of terrorists who were brainwashing suicide bombers. Bajwa also said that operation Zarb-i-Azab would meet the expectations of people.

The military spokesman said all measures would be taken to solve the internally displaced persons’ (IDPs) problems.

So far, 447 terrorists have been killed while 88 hideouts have been destroyed, Bajwa said.
