Cloverdale: The Cloverdale Chamber of Commerce AGM luncheon, this past week, was the stage for the new Board of Directors to be introduced and a farewell to outgoing President, Brian Young. In his speech he noted that the membership now stood at 278, and that the Chamber had moved out of deficit balances posting a surplus of $26.6 thousand this past year. He also said he was passing along the unfinished business of creating an association with the Vancouver Board of Trade. Comment from the audience indicated the belief that the issue was closed. The board has five new directors in Tammy Johnson of BMO Bank of Montreal, MargarettLange of the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel, Nazreen Mohammed of BDC, Jeff Richards of JE Richards Consulting, and Baljit Sabharwal of Copytek Print Centres. The new president will be elected from the directors at their next meeting in December.
