Surrey: RCMP is investigating an assault with a weapon in the Guildford area of Surrey.
At approximately 2:30pm this afternoon, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing in the 16300 block of 88th Avenue. Upon attendance, a male victim was located with multiple stab wounds and taken to local area hospital. Reports of shots being heard have not been confirmed at this point.
Officers are interviewing witnesses and canvassing the area for further information. Traffic in the area is being rerouted.
Surrey RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit is currently investigating.
