Langley: The victim of homicide shooting at Langley gas station identified as 31-year-old Amanjot Singh Hans from Surrey announced by the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team on Thursday.

On May 15, at 9 p.m., the Langley RCMP received several calls about a shooting in the parking lot of a gas station at 232 Street and 72 Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds on the ground. The victim was transported to hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
Soon after the shooting, the Langley RCMP was notified of a burning dark-coloured Dodge pickup truck in the 8300-block of 196 Street. Investigators would like to speak with anyone that has information about this vehicle.
It is early in the investigation but this appears to be a targeted incident. Investigators are working to determine motive.
We need those who have information about this incident to please come forward, says Corporal Frank Jang of IHIT. We are specifically asking for dash cam video from drivers who were travelling along 72 Avenue between 232 Street and Highway 10 at around 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday evening.
