Royal Heights: According to Curtis Harling of the Surrey RCMP media relations unit, emergency teams received a call at around 11:30 on Monday with reports of an explosion in a residence at 9700-block Townline Road. “Crews arrived on scene to find one person with various types of injuries and he was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” said Harling. “We’re still trying to determine if there are any other people associated with that residence and if anyone else had been injured by the explosion. At this point it’s just the one injury that we’re dealing with. When asked about the source of the blast, Harling said it was still to be determined but early signs point to the house being used as some sort drug-cooking operation.
