Vancouver: Lucerne Foods is recalling Roast Beef Submarine, Meat Lover’s, Roast Beef and Cheddar Sandwiches. The sandwiches have been recalled from Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan after reports of possible contamination with Salmonella. Food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Young children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems may contract serious and sometimes deadly infections.
