Richmond: Today, the truckers who are currently on strike set up a picket at Ray Mont Logistics, Richmond. The company has been operating truck despite the strike being into effect from Mar 10. Unionized and  non-Unionized Truckers setup a picket to stop Ray-Mont for going against strike. So far there has been no word from Vince Ready, the mediator on what Port proposes to do about the strike which begun to effect  businesses in Metro Vancouver. The container truckers are asking for better wages, reduced line up times and most importantly respect. They say that at times they move containers for as little as $50 and when the driving and  waiting time is factored in that is not much more than minimum wage.
