Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s (KPU) Richmond campus is gearing up for another fun filled evening of activities, interactive displays, inspirational speakers, and much more at their upcoming second annual Richmond Open House on Wednesday, November 4 from 4:30-8:30pm.

This free, family-friendly event is the perfect place to discover what you want. Take an engaging campus tour, attend information sessions, and connect with students, staff, and faculty. Bring your family, grab your friends, and watch for awesome giveaways and cool free swag.

Located steps away from the SkyTrain’s Canada Line, KPU Richmond is home to the university’s Chip and Shannon Wilson School of Design, offering many one-of-a-kind credentials that cannot be found at other post-secondary institutions including the bachelor of design in product design, among the first of its kind in Canada; the bachelor of design in fashion and technology, the only four-year degree program of its kind in Western Canada; and the bachelor of interior design , the only program to receive accreditation from CIDA, the Council for Interior Design Accreditation.

Outside of the Wilson School of Design, the campus offers a range of programs and courses in academic and career advancement, the arts, business, and science and horticulture—including a bachelor of applied science in sustainable agriculture, a program unique to North America. The Richmond campus also offers a variety of continuing and professional studies courses for learners to upgrade specific skills, and continue their education.

Unique to KPU Richmond is the Melville Centre for Dialogue—an on-campus space designed for presentations, guest speakers, and workshops. The campus also features graphic design computer labs with industry standard equipment and software; interior design work studios; production and sewing labs; and fully-equipped science labs.
