Richmond Campus 2017-6_rszDiscover the power of a polytechnic education at Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s (KPU) upcoming Richmond Open House on Friday, October 19 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. As Canada’s only polytechnic university, KPU is dedicated to providing students with opportunities to gain valuable hands-on skills in addition to traditional academics. Get a first-hand look at the newly expanded campus, connect with students and faculty, and learn more programs and courses.

KPU’s Richmond campus will be a hub of free, family-friendly activities and entertainment throughout the day. Guests have the opportunity to meet with staff and faculty members from a broad range of programs and student services areas within the university, and can enter to win prizes, including a $500 tuition waiver.

The open house also offers attendees the opportunity to take a guided campus tour, exploring the university’s labs, classrooms, library, and study spaces. KPU Richmond is home to the Wilson School of Design, a new state-of-the-art building on campus in January 2018, adding 140 full-time seats to KPU’s design programs. The campus also houses an acupuncture lab, supporting the traditional Chinese medicine-acupuncture diploma, the first program of its kind to be offered at a public, post-secondary institution in BC, and the Faculty of Science and Horticulture’s sustainable agriculture program, which is unique to North America. A diverse mix of arts, business, and upgrading courses are also offered at KPU Richmond.
