Shiamak Vancouver’s Winter Funk kicked the cold weather blues to the curb as hundreds of students of all ages showed off their Bollywood moves. With the theme ‘Rhythm Nation’, world beats took centre stage and months of hard work paid off. The highlight of the show had to be the stunning performances from Shiamak’s Victory Arts Foundation, which saw students of all abilities from North Shore Connexions and the Development Disabilities Association grooving and moving on stage. The adorable kids’ classes with students aged 4-6 years old were stars in their performances — and the Shiamak Vancouver Dance Team was as impressive as ever with their high-energy moves.
